Dwyane Wade, co-founder of Celebrity Sports Academy, entered the NBA in 2003 and since then established himself as one of NBA’s most recognized, respected and popular players. As a child, Wade himself attended a youth basketball camp. That experience impacted him in such a way, that he made a promise to himself. Claiming that if he ever made it to the NBA, he himself would offer youth camps. He has kept that promise, hosting camps for 17 years and inspiring the work of CSA.
Lester McDaniel
Co-Founder, CEO
Lester is the CEO and co-founder of Celebrity Sports Academy, and also known as, “DWade’s brother”. He received his Sports Management degree from Bellevue University, where he played two seasons and was offered to play overseas. He also holds a Masters in School Counseling from Chicago State University. His passion for the game, combined with his counseling and coaching background, help him shape impactful experiences for CSA campers. He’s has been working alongside Dwyane Wade and producing youth camps for 21 years.
Jessica Dereschuk McDaniel
Co-Founder, COO
Jessica is COO and co-founder of Celebrity Sports Academy. She brings over 16 years’ experience working with some of the top names, teams and brands in sports and entertainment. Jessica works year-long behind the scenes planning CSA’s annual camps, special events, managing client relations and creating unique partnerships to keep CSA’s camp experiences fresh, fun and bigger than basketball. She’s been co-producing Celebrity Sports Academy youth camps for 10 years.
