WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

Hello! We wanted to send you an official thank you for the 2020 virtual CSA camp experience! Jayden is very appreciative of the experience. He is so thankful for the multiple opportunities you provided him including the live call with the CSA team and Dwyane Wade. The camp not only challenged him mentally and physically but it also provided a well needed distraction from the current challenges in the world. The CEEK platform, coaches, and videos were very engaging and fun to follow. Lastly, the experience brought so much joy in our home. We are truly grateful and looking forward to joining you again!

Thank you for putting on a wonderful camp. My son, Bradley, had a great time and has not stopped talking about your camp. It was by far the best camp he’s ever attended, and for the rest of his life he’ll remember the phenomenal experience.

Thank you for such a wonderful camp, very motivational, a lot accomplished in 2 days and of course Mr. Wade was fabulous. Keep up the great work!

I just wanted to share with you how you helped change my child’s perspective of life & how you and your staff in this weekend’s camp, made a change in my son’s life.  A day before yesterday he didn’t have any goals.  Now as you can see, he has 10.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you all!

This camp is so great for kids to improve their skills in a positive environment. Dwayne Wade is present and so great with the kids. The event is organized, especially for the number of kids that attend, and well managed. The kids are divided by age groups and they rotate to different stations throughout the day. It’s a wonderful program! My son loves it!

I wanted to express my gratitude to you and Big Brothers Big Sisters for giving my son this amazing opportunity!  Once you told us about it, he was of course thrilled at the idea of meeting Dwyane Wade.  My son is very active, but due to our life circumstances he has not had the ability to become an athlete.  He always tries out for the various sports at school, but is never selected because the reality is that most kids learn to play at home and then get better by joining a team.  Unfortunately, with a single parent and me not being an athlete, he’s been lacking that from the get go. I have to tell you I was very happy when on our drive home he said “Mom this was really great.  I learned so much in the drills we did”. My heart was overjoyed when he said “I can tell I improved since yesterday, maybe this year I can try out again for the basketball team at school and make it.”  Even as I write to thank you from the bottom of my heart tears roll down my face.  I think as a responsible grown up I went to school got a degree, started working before I contemplated marriage and children.  So, to do that but then have the father walk out and want nothing to do with his son is something I never imagined or planned for.  BBBS was a God sent and we cannot thank you enough for all the opportunities Evan has been given.

The camp was the highlight of my son’s summer! It was a great experience and I hope to do it again.

As someone who grew up with the game (former D3 All-American and former D3 assistant coach) I’ve never come across a camp that focuses on teaching kids about the bigger picture like this. I was thoroughly impressed with this initiative. Thank you for helping to make your campers more well-rounded athletes.
